    • @@DOI_ARTS that’s true! I work with FRP and was playing around with cement and I don’t have patience for it. Fiberglass I can control a lot better.

  • Great job. I have an idea for anyone who wants to recreate this: Hook up a raspberry-pi or Arduino to control the LED's so that you can synchronize the lights with the phases of the moon in real time.

  • I seen this video a while back and created one using mdf fiber board, green stuff (puddy for table top miniature gaming), painted the moon and use rbg lighting covered by wax baking paper (to dim down the light hot spots). This man is very talented and has a great mind for masonry.

  • Great work! It would be awesome if you had addressable LEDs, so that you could programm an arduino or raspi and activate them only partially. Then you could imitate the lunar cycle and even sync it with the real one.

  • Looks great! I wonder what the water to concrete ratio is with this. Also, how large is the largest grain of the sand/silt you use to create your concrete? To achieve this consistency it's gotta be 1mm or smaller, right?
