🚄 Here's a list of everywhere we ate in Japan: jeanelleats.com/where-we-ate-in-japan/ 🍩 Which of these snacks would YOU want to have while speeding through Japan?!
the mochi and sushi 🍣🍡
Mochi and dango 🍡
Try amazake (sweet sake) next round with Bento & pocket sandwich.
Everything.
Now I wnat to know how much did you spend on all that??? Oh I have plans to study there???please
Japan Is a food paradise that must be explored.
we never had a "bad" meal
Not for vegetarians sadly
@@meghnasingh1121 Actually there are some vegetarian options in japan, also there are vegetarian sushi and stuff. Not hardcore veg but still livable imo
No ig its india
@@SeiaF16 its actually a thing that some vegetarians cant even eat veg food if its made on the same utensils on which non veg was made I really love Japan and have always wanted to go there but the food is the sole reason i cant go
Omg everything looks SO GOOD! I can’t believe you can get most of those meals from a vending machine or just from around the train stations. Those bentos all looked amazing! Japan is seriously on a whole ‘nother level
ekiben FTW!
Are all this food coming from vending machines on stations? Does it mean you have some times to spend on the stations to continue to travel?
Yes, how amazing, what a great idea for convenience. Imagine if it were available everywhere around the globe, I bet people would grow massively rich! We may be living in the UK, but there is something incredibly tragic about pre-packed sandwiches here, esp on trains
@@TheDogGoesWoof69 the structure of a bullet train makes it very calm inside while going at a impressing speed
@@heersyal2454 haha fr, they get boring
I got so excited when I saw this 😍🤩 Also, I don’t know why but this is one of the only food vlogs that I don’t feel like someone is just bragging at me. I feel like I am right there learning and enjoying it with them and happy for them 😄 💖💓
omg thank you! I totally understand how travel videos can become "flexes" and I'm happy you enjoy my POV!
i like trains. *splat*
The first time I experienced the canned corn drink was on top of Mt Fuji. It hit so different up there as it was freezing cold. The can warmed my hands and belly. It was perfect. Haven’t had it since but do remember this so fondly because it was truly an experience.
I'd take the corn soup and hot hojicha tea on my bullet train ride. It's cheap, fast, and delicious!!
couldn't ride without them!
I love how everything looks so fresh. I would definitely try something out of my comfort zone. Safe travels y’all.
I'm not an expert by any means but I believe the quality of of Japan's food is because of the freshness and obsession over their ingredients. I wouldn't say any of the flavors, spices, etc. are really all that adventurous. It just seems like if Japan makes something, they make it REALLY GOOD
I *need* to try those baked sweet potatoes. I can't believe I didn't when I went to Japan one winter 😭
try it next time! its sooo worth it.
i have them all the time and theyre great! you can find them in basically any asian grocery where I live (US) just chuck them in the oven for a bit and theyre good to go :)
it looked liked a steak wrapped in parchment
No need to cry about it.
You could try to bake one yourself, it really isn't hard and it'll always taste good ;D
Now I wanna go to this country even more
Those bentos look SO good ✨😍
Wow, it all looks amazingly good, esp. the matcha bakery goods. I wish we could find that in London UK. All the bento boxes look not just beautifully packed, but so appetising! 😋
You make me wanna go back to japan and eat everything
Watching this in Ramadan well fasting right now I’m starving but it feels so good
I visited Japan recently. I must admit that the whole trip was about me obsessing over the food. I ate more wagyu than a person should and I also found my happy place inside of Mos Burger. So much food and not enough space in my stomach!! Japan is such an amazing place to visit. So long as you are a quiet and respectful tourist 😌
they make it so easy it should be a crime!
You can never go wrong with satsumaimo. Several Asian stores here in Vancouver sell bags of 4 or 5 cooked sweet potatoes which you can eat cold or heat up in the microwave. I prefer them cold. I can't understand why they aren't available everywhere...a much healthier alternative to candy bars and the other crap we have to choose from at convenience stores in North America. And satsumaimo is equally satisfying in the taste department. 40 years ago you were hard-pressed to find more than one or two sushi bars in major American or Canadian cities. Now they're ubiquitous; you can't throw a rock in Vancouver without breaking the window of a sushi restaurant. I predict that satsumaimo will eventually catch on and be as readily available, too!
Any of the bentos. They are my favorite thing ever. I have a hard time picking and eating one thing. So bento boxs are like the best invention ever (to me anyway), and I love fish. 🙂
Zunda is underrated and so delicious! Zunda melon bread and Zunda milkshakes were my favourite discovery on my last trip to Japan..
3 weeks ago i went to japan. And those vending machine buttons, brings back so many memories considering its the best memory of my life.
I actually talk and speak like you.. live you’re dreams Jeanelleats I’m happy for you ❤❤
I love her voice it’s just so cute and so bubbly!
Why is this so satisfying
I love your content!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
All look tasty, envy you already. Thanks...made my day 😊
I remember being able to get Udon noodles with Tempura Shrimp in some places - not sure if you could take that on the train but I did have a bento I took on the train and it was great (pre-pandemic)
WOW , those look absolutely delish !! i would definitely eat the mochi and matcha latte
The corn soup is definitely a must and very addicting to have
i am obseesed with bullet trains, and no matter the distance, i still eat a bento on the train. I remember last time travelling on the bullet trains, i had this bento that had raw tuna and ikura on top which really satisfied my fish cravings. if you guys travel on bullet trains i recommend getting a bento because it just feels so different.
I've really been checking out Korean and Japanese flavors. Surreal ❤
I love corn soup, it's so refreshing especially with chicken
You don’t know how much I love ikura and mouth-watered watching this 😭
OK now I seriously want to move to Japan! I would love to learn Japanese and/or Korean and the food just looks phenomenal 😆
Everything looked delicious, especially the bento boxes and the sweet potato. 🍱🍠❤😊
dude japan is LITERALLY my DREAM place where i wanna go, IM OBSESSED WITH IT 😂😂😂😂
Matcha donut 🍩🍵 💚 omg!!!!! I need this in my life!!!! I want that in Spain 😭😭 yo quiero ese donut de té 🤤
The matcha donut looked delectable😍
So much food!11 yum thanks for sharing
Love your videos ❤❤❤
Japan will always will be one place everybody would want to go
I was obsessed and bought too many snacks for the bullet train when I went 😂 I wound up eating the rest at the end of the day or sharing with our tour group
Snacks look really yummy 😁😋😋
For the ehoumaki we eat those on setsubun so March 2nd or March 3rd! We eat a long whole ehoumaki without talking or taking out of your mouth. You have to eat the whole thing first! It’s yummy- You don’t have to do that if it’s not on setsubun!! BTW I’M SO HAPPY YOU VISITED HIROSHIMA!! :D I LIVE IN HIROSHIMA OMGGGG! I’m pretty sure you’re from the Philippines and I just wanted to say that I LOVE FILIPINOS AND THE PHILIPPINES! They’re the sweetest and such beautiful people 😭
I really don’t eat a lot of food like that but wow everything looks so colorful and yummy
I have watched this video more than a million time the food have eaten looks amazing if I ever go to Japan and travel in bullet train I would definitely eat this
When I went to Japan my favorite vending machine was the alcohol one, grape flavoured was my go to morning drink. Followed by a bowl of rice and beef.
MY MOUTH IS WATERING JUST BY WATCHING EVEN THOUGH I JUST HAD DINNER!!
When I went on trains my grandparents would make me and my family a bento box and it was so good!
Matcha latte and donut are on my mind
when i went to japan all i had was matcha lattes so i hoped that would be in the video omg 💗💗
Imm from osaka stay here and try the local experience
Looks delightful
The food looks so good
they look so good
The macha donut looks soooooooo good
LOOKS YUMMY!
I am SO jealous. I have a lot of problems with feeding myself that mostly stem from my lactose and gluten intolerances and many many allergies meaning most of the usual lunch and breakfast foods here not being an option for me. But all of the food in this video I'm pretty sure I'd be able to eat. If I lived in Japan I would probably have s healthier weight, and I'd have way more energy too...
I don't personally eat foods like that but the mochi's looks nice. If it was on a trine I'd probably just buy loads of cookies and chocolate to eat during the journey
Tip from a Japanese: 1:23 when eating an ehomaki, eat it without saying a word. Don’t say anything even if someone asks you if the ehomaki is good, just eat in silence. Apparently if you say something while eating the luck won’t come to you and no point in eating it. And also: While eating, face the direction of the year (every year is different) For example this year was south south east. Hope this helps 😄
The muji juices are always my go-to when travveling in metro stations
I hope I’ll get to visit Japan soon 🙏🏻
🎶Try the gray stuff! It’s delicious! 🎶 …I’ll see myself out 😅
Omg, HEAVEN
That mochi looked sooooooooo goooooooood
This is the reason i want to visit japan
I want to go to Japan so badly! But I don’t know if they even speak a little bit of English, because I don’t know how to speak Japanese at all! And I would defiantly eat the mochi, that sounded the best, also the star bucks!!
those look so yummy😊
I guess lumiere was right! The grey stuff IS delicious!
I went to Japan on a college trip, and one of my teachers was also obsessed with corn soup, he’d always try to hunt down the vending machines that sold it
Try the grey stuff, it’s delicious!
dang now i want to visit japan so much
Everything looks so yummy 😋❤ how long did it take the train from Osaka to Tokyo? And how much did it cost ?
One way ticket (bullet train) = ~USD120 / JPY 14,700-15,550. Depending on time needed to reach destination & station stopovers. Less station stopovers + faster time to arrive at destination = more expensive.
When I was at the bullet train, I bought a traditional bento box from a vendor at the station.
Try the grey stuff, it's delicious.
I'll be in Nagoya next month. Then travel to Tokyo and/or Kobe from there via the Shinkansen. Will eat Nagoya's kushimono (fried/grilled food on sticks) & possibly Kobe's beef snacks onboard.
Try the grey stuff, it's delicious!
Beauty & the beast Try the grey stuff,it's delicious 😂
maybe its because im from seattle but the STARBUCKS MATCHAS 😲😍
Now I want a matcha donut. 🍵🍩 Matcha isn't that bad when it's iced and sweet but not hot.
i was in japan last year. couldn't stop buying their canned corn soup! it was so warm and homely, that's also was red bean canned drink! it was so good too... miss japan for it 🤣
im prob going next yr 😊🎉
I do not trush vending machines, so I have not used one for years You can also bring your own food or drink on the train, if there is not a food service on board the train.
U have the best foods in history
When I was in Japan I LOVEEDDDDDD THE CORN SOUP when then one time when I drank it (i think I drank too much)I went to a restaurant and I threw the corn soup up-
Best snacks are tangerines and lemons. Hands down best ever 🙌.
That sweet potato looks 🤩
You should have had Doug’s natural protein shake.
never underestimate Japan's sweet potato. they're SO GOOD😋😋
my mouth started to water while watching this and didnt even relise 😢

Everything looks good.
I would definitely try that sweet potato.
I swear when i saw that matcha tea latte AND that matcha muffin combo my heart stopped for a sec !!! 🥰 im so obsessed w MATCHA 🍵💚💚💚
I would literally eat everything!
"when I found out i was allowed to eat - i took advantage of it" mood
Ignoring all the other incredible things in Japan, the food alone would make me want to visit XD As it is, it's just an awesome bonus to all its other attractions!
i really said “mm m mmm “ bc thye looked so gooodddd
I wonder how long was the time taken to reach to Tokyo as she ate a lot of food looking delicious from outside as well as in taste😋.
