Chris and Jungkooks vocals were so beautiful. Perfect fit for the song. I’m not surprised that Jungkook’s verses went viral, he really delivered something special showcasing his lower register in this song
The alien vocoder voice and synths in the song are technically supposed to be the third "alien" band collaborating on the song too. Coldplay even released a Supernova7 remix which is supposed to have been remixed by that band. A really cool way of making the storyline and the actual music follow a theme 😊

I love his reactions since a long time, based on a producer he's really good at explaining the music. I'm so happy that you liked this song, they both killed it.
As i've said before this song is so beautiful that it maes me both smile and cry at the same time but now I've seen the MV I'm crying again it's so beautifully filmed and made I'm just in love with it and hearing those harmonies again especially Jimin with RM and Chris Martin with JK it's so beautiful. So one word to describe the entire song and MV is beautiful as it remind me just how much the lads miss us and how much we miss them.

If you watched it in sequence on how they released this whole project, it make sense. They released the lyrics video first - for us to understand the meaning of the song Then the making of the song - for us to see how they did the whole production, in that short documentary you see how they recorded the group vocal that they used to stack up in the background Then they released this MV - when you watch it or listen to it, you have a visual memory of how they recorded it, it adds something extra…. Goosebumps moments.
Those stacked vocals are gang vocals! all BTS members plus Chris singing into the microphone, I loooove how they all sound together too!!, you can see it in their documentary over BTS' channel, if you are interested in the making process of the song :)
PLEASE do that BTSxCOLDPLAY documentary, its only like 12-13min long and it just basically shows how they worked together on this song, mainly recording the vocals.

Yo idk if you missed it or not, but the lead singer of Coldplay or Chris Martin was actually rapping along with Suga in his verse at the end hes the one in the background runnin with Suga haha just thought it would be cool to share. The thing I like about this video is whenever Suga did his rap, it sounded like Mr. Martin actually rapped in whatever Korean dialect BTS’ rap line actually rap in. Very cool.
