Thanks for listening to the community and trying to turn this game around. We will need to wait and see if it's enough, especially considering the fact that specialists are still a problem, but at least you try and don't totally ignore the community like Activision and IW do with sbmm, the minimap, the perk system and so on. 2042 deserves to be a good game!

Season 3 feels like Dice are realizing they messed up on game and trying to fix there mistakes which I’m glad to see cause us battlefield fans deserve a more accurate battlefield experience like older ones and I feel it’s finally starting to feel like a battlefield experience more now like older games were. Morale of story : Don’t fix mechanics that aren’t broken DICE/EA.

This update is what 2042 should have been from the beginning. They had perfect opportunity to build out a game on the foundations laid by BF4 Final Stand and be it a proper prequel to 2142. I think it's too little too late but at least it's the right direction

The Railgun is definitely not "a step in the right direction", the gameplay by jackfrags showed how incredibly little they seem to know of game balancing, yes sure the map and other stuff looks good but that gun should not go into the game in the state it was in that gameplay. Same thought goes for the Airburst that Zain got, there was a reason why it was banned on half the servers in BF4, its just gonna be an annoying spam that makes the game even less fun, especially since it basically got infinite ammo

Of course there will be gameplay imbalances and it will probably months to refine everything, but I'd rather have the game take that direction and have some semblance of the old Battlefield DNA in it then what it embodied at launch. Besides, almost every live service game nowadays introduces OP weapons to get people to buy skins so it was going to happen either way... it's just the sad reality we live in

This way there's no point in driving or flying vehicles anymore in a Battlefield game, and all of the idiots that sit in corners of the map with Lis launching rockets over and over with unlimited rocket-regen and full control of the rocket's guidance can continue to not PTFO more efficiently. I’m loving the whole futuristic aesthetic this season is going with. Makes it feel like it actually takes place in the near future. I would love to see more support added for Portal though. More community made modes spotlighting instead of just two at a time, and dedicated matchmaking for BC2 Rush, BF3 Conquest, and 1942 Conquest with full XP progression to level up. Really bums me out when I wanna play BC2 Rush with BC2 rules but can only find bot lobbies or lobbies that use 2042 specialists and weapons on BC2 maps. Or maybe port Portal maps over to All-Out Warfare like they’ve done in the past with limited time events. I think that would really help the game’s replay value while waiting for a new season to start

DICE never disappoints with their trailers but honestly, most BF fans just want more maps, guns and weapons instead of cosmetics...
I'd rather have one tested and finished map instead of 3 mediocre unfinished maps with tons of bugs. Quantity DOES NOT EQUAL Quailty
It seems that the addition of content is being delayed because they are reworking existing maps
@@ghosteagle6814 True, look how was it with the launch of the game. Like 8 maps in total and now they are remaking all cuz most of them are bad. So one new solid map for each season, that actually is fun is enough.
I mean this trailer _is_ on a new map showing off some new guns and weapons
@@ghosteagle6814 it doesn’t have to be one or the other, as has been with the majority of previous Battlefield games’ DLC.
Thanks for listening to the community and trying to turn this game around. We will need to wait and see if it's enough, especially considering the fact that specialists are still a problem, but at least you try and don't totally ignore the community like Activision and IW do with sbmm, the minimap, the perk system and so on. 2042 deserves to be a good game!

Season 3 feels like Dice are realizing they messed up on game and trying to fix there mistakes which I’m glad to see cause us battlefield fans deserve a more accurate battlefield experience like older ones and I feel it’s finally starting to feel like a battlefield experience more now like older games were. Morale of story : Don’t fix mechanics that aren’t broken DICE/EA.

Yeah, they should add more skins with actual plate carriers and helmets, Every specialist should be wearing a helmet, noone would be running around without a helmet in actual war.

This update is what 2042 should have been from the beginning. They had perfect opportunity to build out a game on the foundations laid by BF4 Final Stand and be it a proper prequel to 2142. I think it's too little too late but at least it's the right direction
The Railgun is definitely not "a step in the right direction", the gameplay by jackfrags showed how incredibly little they seem to know of game balancing, yes sure the map and other stuff looks good but that gun should not go into the game in the state it was in that gameplay. Same thought goes for the Airburst that Zain got, there was a reason why it was banned on half the servers in BF4, its just gonna be an annoying spam that makes the game even less fun, especially since it basically got infinite ammo

I guess BF started a new trend of delivering unfinished games so they can cash out and use part of the money to finish the game. So they can do a new game with less money at the beginning. The shareholders must love it! Activision is also adapting very well to this.

Of course there will be gameplay imbalances and it will probably months to refine everything, but I'd rather have the game take that direction and have some semblance of the old Battlefield DNA in it then what it embodied at launch. Besides, almost every live service game nowadays introduces OP weapons to get people to buy skins so it was going to happen either way... it's just the sad reality we live in

Honestly season 3 looking like the best season so far. Map looks amazing. Skins are looking much better. Updates are getting game on point. Can’t wait to play it tomorrow.

I know what you mean. Haven't touched the game since launch and that was with the free trial. But I think the content looks good, but I probably won't pay for it.... yet.
The only expectation i have is basically seeing one gun played because the Rorsch is just incredibly badly implemented

Absolutely looking forward to Season 3!!! With the return of the class system and BF2042 coming on Xbox Game Pass & EA Play, this Season will more likely turn the game around to give new players a chance to try the game.
I hope lis rocket damage gets a buff it's very hard to go up in mastery if her rocket hits like a snowball. Either than that rocky start at first, first two seasons were great can't wait for season 3. So far so good 😃
Yea that'd be great and super-balanced! This way there's no point in driving or flying vehicles anymore in a Battlefield game, and all of the idiots that sit in corners of the map with Lis launching rockets over and over with unlimited rocket-regen and full control of the rocket's guidance can continue to not PTFO more efficiently. @@willfullyinformed Most people I'm in lobbies with don't even bother shooting aircraft with her because its no reason to if it does no damage so they use the other launchers instead. I'm not saying buff her significantly but a minor damage buff would be good. She needs help.

Battlepass is included in the Gold and Ultimate Edition. 90€/$ was the Gold Edition :) Its for the (hopefully) first 4 Seasons. (Year1)

Honestly, i've never really cared about skins in any BF game, im just fine with the default ones. I just hope in the next BF game to see more destruction like Levolution from BF4 and no specialists.

I’m gonna be honest battlefield 2042 has to be one of my favorite games I know it had a rough start but it’s one of those games where they care about there players and I have a lot of fun with it. I’m excited for this next season and hopefully others start looking at the positive side and not the negative.

I’m loving the whole futuristic aesthetic this season is going with. Makes it feel like it actually takes place in the near future. I would love to see more support added for Portal though. More community made modes spotlighting instead of just two at a time, and dedicated matchmaking for BC2 Rush, BF3 Conquest, and 1942 Conquest with full XP progression to level up. Really bums me out when I wanna play BC2 Rush with BC2 rules but can only find bot lobbies or lobbies that use 2042 specialists and weapons on BC2 maps. Or maybe port Portal maps over to All-Out Warfare like they’ve done in the past with limited time events. I think that would really help the game’s replay value while waiting for a new season to start

I just finished story mode in battlefield 1 for the second time in my life The first time was in 2016 on October 28, which is my birthday I cried at the end of the last story I got the game for my birthday I want battlefield as it was in bf 3/4/1 times I don't want battlefield as it is now although I love the series and have lots of good memories with it. And I know I'm not the only one who thinks so

Honestly, there is a lack of skins that you say, wow ..... like in Battlefield V the ash skins are missing something like that. but it is very good that they continue working and improving Battlefield 2042

The game is actually really good now if you're comparing to launch. First year was pretty much a beta but now it feels like battlefield again.
