117 riders entered Sandraiders 2023 to experience riding on 1600km of tracks used in the legendary Paris-Dakar race during the eighties and nineties.
I entered this year on a Yamaha TT600 alongside my son Charlie, who took his Honda XR600R this year and in this video you get see what happens as we scramble through some of the greatest scenery Morocco has to offer over the 7-days the Sandraiders event runs for. Dunes, dust lakes, rocky passes, they're all here!

Sucks that I know this won’t get as many views as the car videos. I love it that Harry still does motorcycle videos for the few of us who care.
That's so true, he has a fine collection of classic bikes, that probably mean nothing to a lot of people. It's so cool to see them out there being used.
There simply aren't as many bikers as car drivers, but I bet this audience is far more devoted to the content and will have higher retention over the series.
38,000 views 20 hours in, it’s not doing too bad, the car guys maybe latching on to the bike videos, well done Harry, as usual, plus great content from Charlie, great team effort.
IMO it doesn't suck at all. Even tho I'm not a biker (ie a sad shadow of a person in your view I suppose from your wording "...the few of us who care...") I still enjoy this video to the fullest. My enjoyment isn't spoiled of the number of views it gets, low or not. I guess we're very different in that respect.
@@bennylloyd-willner9667 Great points. Views have nothing whatsoever to do with anything.
I can’t help but think some of those 60 new first-timers might be due to Harry’s promotional skills last year 😅
Definitely, this is on my bucket list now.
Yup! It’s now on my wish list thanks to Harry.
You're not far wrong...I was one of them :)
I'm gonna go now next Yr 😊
@@monoi4Congratulations are inorder. Or are they? A Dutch woman, on a standard Honda 300 did this same journey a few weeks ago. Alone! Sorry Harry, but you lot seem a bit out of your league.
Love these! They may not have been the most popular vids as you said in your round up last year, but those of us who love it really love since there's not much else like it on KZhead. There's more than a few of us who'd love to do Sandraiders one day!
YES!
Guess that means we are due another EV review next week 😢
You need a double Like button for motorcycle related videos, great great stuff, keep them coming! 😊
Harry, never stop making bike videos, please. I know they don't get the views, but I absolutely love 'em.
My respect for this performance! I'm nearly 60 and now I know there is hope for the coming years ... Cheers from Germany!
Great bikes, I love the classics.
Wow. This is better than any car. Big Balls Harry
Extremely fascinating. Well done!
Charlie’s Inst stories of his bike have been so good. Such a great looking bike. Makes me wanna go ride mine.
7:25 OH YES I feel your joy Harry, lovely vid thank you.
What an experience Harry. Father and son having a blast in the dessert. The POV is spectacular. Looking forward to subsequent uploads.
Great, I am your age Harry and have a son in his late twenties, we ride bikes and can relate to this, very enjoyable ,a great adventure.
Love the episodes on bikes!
Superb adventure and for me, great viewing.
Last July I rode a 2012 DR650 through the outback from one side of Australia to the other. 8,500 kilometres from Byron Bay to Steep Point and on to Perth. There were 14 of us. I made a film and used my own music as the soundtrack. There were shitloads of bike issues, but we had Tex O Grady, a legend of a biker as a mechanic.
Absolutely love your bike video's , so jealous of you maroccan trips ❤
I love the shoulder Cam. Make you feel like you are there! Cheers Harry
Three of us did a similar route 20 years ago, on our own on XR600Rs. Zero bike problems. Seeing this brings back wonderful memories.
the spot where John came to a stop was incredible!
A W E S O M E!!!! Regards from chilean patagonia entry door ;)
Pretty interesting video. Watching from Japan. Been to Morocco in 1992. Living very close to Suzuka.
Nice. Japan is a destination I'm really keen to revisit. I keep promising to take the family there, as it's one of my absolute favourite countries in the world..
What a stud, carry on man… cheers!
Please keep posting and sharing your experiences with us, some of us "live the experience" by watching you posts
This is amazing! I wish I could re-live my childhood, 7 year old fantasy of watching taped Dakar episodes from around 96,97 and do this event. We had an africa twin, I owned a kdx, but had a model KDX (the original) and it was my dream to just get a sense of the adventure. (I didn't know the extent of how hectic it was) but it was fun to daydream. Fun fact, IIRC the XT500 had a kickstarter that could easily launch you over the bars or break your leg if you didn't know what you were doing. Beautiful bikes all in all.
Worthy as ever. Carry on!
Awesome, what a great experience
Great to see a couple of DR600’s there
Great video, so nice to see old bikes in use. They really made a difference. And what a wonderful English. Subbed.
Simply epic, Harry.
I've said it before and I'll keep saying it - love your bike videos ;)
LOVE the Tamiya sticker on the tank Charlie!
Oh I'm loving watching this!
Lovely bike's, real bikes
Good to see Charlie.
Harry fretting over all sorts, heat, dust, lunch and the dark then sees Charlie stop with camera out. "This must be good" .No its Oscar playing about. This is a young mans event and long may they enjoy: it.
Can't wait until sunday. My brother rode from Cairns to Perth on a 1989 Dr Big, and I've been jealous since. Maybe I'll do this next year!
Excellent stuff. Enjoyed that
I loved this! Cheers H
AWESOME. I'm really quite jealous!
Outstanding episode
Amazing skies!
Just Fantastic !!I had an XR 350 many moons ago. Love all of this Harry you and bikes .Noraly Itchy boots was that way last month.
The Beer Truck 🚛 Driver is everybody's Hero 🍷🍻🍺!
Just love this 👍👍
I'm not in the slightest interested in bikes but that was a very watchable video. Looking forward to part 2.
Looks such superb fun! I agree, more should watch the bike video’s, they make me wish I had a bike 👍
Thank you, Harry and Charlie, for sharing your Sandraiders trip with us again this year! Nice helmet cam views, nice people, good stories, cool bikes, and a beer truck. Excellent! 👍👍👍
Watched 2022 S-Raiders open mouthed with admiration.... 2023, Same :-)
Great video can’t wait for the next one
I’ve never riden a motorbike but I found this as fascinating as the videos that Harry does on cars, it’s all about the story teller, best channel out there along with Harry’s Farm and Mr T’s Classic Workshop
Love this!!
Not a big bike guy, but I love these videos. Seems like a great event and fantastic adventure!
Yay - bikes!!!!
Loved it last year, couldnt wait for this years film! Keep it up Harry.
wow this was brilliant, and only just come across your channel
Harry's Garage is the complete package from single cylinder 2-wheelers to the mightiest V12 supercars. There are many who don't appreciate this content but I definitely do. Fantasic to see all of what interests Harry and the fun to be had with the contents of the garage.
I could watch an unedited video of this entire drive!
Stunning!
Thanks so much Harry.. you always have the ability to make me enjoy what I’m not interested in.. well done 👌💪🏍️
Four wheels good. Two wheels better. Great episode, bring on the next 2 👍
I love when the map comes out ❤
Yes, new sandraiders series.
Great video! I love the bike stuff
Love these videos👍👍👍👍
Brilliant Harry good luck!
Great stuff. Very engrossing!
This brings back memories of the Ewan McGregor/Charlie Boorman Long Way Down/Round series'. Have both on DVD and enjoy seeing these kind of adventures
What a brilliant surprise! Love these bike videos.
God I love this!
TAMIYA sticker on Charlie's bike... I approve!
Brilliant video and fantastic scenery harry ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
I Love that bike . My XR is close but not quite . ""RIDE ON""
Absolutely mega! I can barely ride a tricycle and you make me want to do this!
Top notch stuff!!! Don’t stop or be disheartened by the lesser views the bike vids bring in. I find these by far, more interesting/entertaining than the somewhat irrelevant supercar videos. Thanks for the great content.
Enjoyed the video Harry, interesting travels.
AMAZING 👏 😊❤😂 LOVE THESE VIDEOS OVERSEAS ON ADVENTURE!!
thank you harry
Harrys new catchphrase :" come on Charlie!"😂
I was hoping for the Testarossa chace car with the backup outboard in the boot! Thanks for publishing your adventures for us non-Moroccans!
+1. .. Harry, you are my all-time Hero.. You are living large ... whether attending to the Farm or the Garage. .. Travel safe, ride safe. .. Cheers from Vail, Colorado
Thank you for adding an item to my bucket list. This is fantastic!
I'm so pleased you took your cameras and recorded this event, I've really been looking forward to it ..
I know these vids don't get the most views, but they might actually be my favourites. Just superb content.
Nice One Harry, total respect. 😊😊😊😊👍🏻
Harry- I know you said " hell of a commute if you live up here" but I can only imagine the sky at night; must be a sight to behold. It's the little, dare I say simple things that delight.
"I can go off kick starts real quick" well I can identify with that sentiment, I remember my old XT500 was a cow to start even with the decompression lever, I kneed my self in the chin on more than one occasion trying to kick it off...great video can't wait for episode two.
For me thees motorbike videos are more enjoyable than the cars . I can fully relate to them . Thanks Harry. Am off to the Isle of man tt in a few days .First time going 🎉
That Yamaha is beautiful
looks absolutely brilliant wish i could do something like this :)
...this annual trip creates amazing photographic opportunities for you Harry - Awesome. Love the final quote...."Oh gawd, Oscars mucking about...that was bound to happen". 😄 Clearly you could see the potential for disaster here!!
Fantastic!!!!!
My take away from this video is how amazing it must have been as a father & son experience. Lovely stuff.
Awesome!
Brilliant.
Absolutely brilliant. Thank you for letting us join in your adventure.
Excellent video Harry. Wonderful footage. You convinced me I need to do that event one day. Thank you for sharing.
loved these moto videos!, the experience looks amazing.
Gold mine. I'd love the time to even just walk around the parking ...
What a great adventure. Thanks for taking us along.
