I can almost certainly tell you that based on gta 5 release, online will be released about 2-3 weeks after the story mode drops, and if it's gonna be like last time online dropped it completely crashed and people couldn't play for like 2 days. really hope rockstar fixes that and any and all God mode glitches and off radar glitches

I'm also in no position to comment on working from home VS working in an office.. but all I can think of is that the employer will know the workers are actively doing something in paid time at the office as apposed to not knowing what they're actually doing at home whilst on paid time. I dunno.. I imagine there are things in place to clock work time if not just the old "proofs in pudding" kinda thing where u just know someone has or has not spent a certain amount of time on something just based on how much work has been produced. Again if really no idea but that's what springs to mind for me.. ofcourse, making content on your own steam is basically you being your own boss and so time is not 'clocked', as it were, for you, you can relax and make a drink, make some food, take dog out do whatever... All while your basically "on work time" i.e, recording/editing for content.
I work remotely as a developer. It’s not about what you do or don’t do on paid time. The only thing my employers care about is that your tickets are coming in on time. Every company is different but I can essentially do nothing all day & still be fine. That’s only if my tickets come in good. If your leader is flagging your work for tardiness or quality HR will be joining the chat 😅 Rockstar just doesn’t want the game to leak. And if they’re being slimy they want to crunch their devs. It’s easier to convince people to stay late in person

They've been done with the game for a good min. Theyre just polishing it up. Working on dlc for online play. 12 years on KZhead at least 5 years as a walnart greeter.
i highly doubt theyre 100% done with the game, and even then they still might end up delaying it to do a bit more polishing and cleaning up here and there, bc its rockstar and theyre probably looking to make the best product possible
