Thank you for videos I am seriously considering getting one when my beloved 13 year Rottie passes. He has been the best guard dog I ever owned out of all 3 of my Rotties he was far the best well rounded. My concern with the Boerboel is I have a 6 year old Belgium Malinois will a female Boerboel get along with him as she matures he is cut. The other is the aggressiveness I don’t want a dog I have to lock up every time people come over or the grand kids. Been through that with my first Rottie as she was purposely not socialized around people other than family. Size is not as big of an issue but I would like to get a small female. What would an average female weigh when fully mature.

I don’t agree with breeding a dog for your needs, it should stay as original to its genetic lineage as possible and not be bred to fit the habitat you live in. Simply put if you live in a less than suitable environment, you change your lifestyle to suit the dog and not the other way around. That’s what great dog owners/breeders do.

You can't create your own dog that's no longer part of the breed standard but maybe you selling dogs just for sale but most of the dogs I see you have wouldn't be called boerboels if they had 2 be appraised I think you need to read up on boerboels from the original SABT organization then the SABBA then consult Mr Johan Swart a man who has the knowledge and a family who helped in building the boerboel to what it is in our country SA and i am a breeder you Americans and your lack of knowledge I bet you got your information from the internet did you pick up a book about the breed from the original founders ?
