Massive thank you to you guys for providing us with that little bit of extra information about the cars, engine type, drivetrain type etc. You have been doing it for a while now, but it gives these videos so much more depth. The Evo at the beginning was in 110% send mode. They win. That was some beautiful driving and insane self confidence
It's not so much the confidence in yourself that allows them to drive the car the way they do. It's the confidence in the car that gives you the confidence to push it to the limit
To just know it's going to do what you want it to do, when you want it to do it. You make the machine operate at max effort reliably and the only limiting factor is how big a sack you got 😂
All are amazing,although i admit i got a soft spot for Evos and Schagerl's Golf.Also,that Fiesta is mental and acceleration is scary. Best of means there is no room for slouches and every single one of these delivered with their performance and you delivered with another great video. As always,thanks for top-notch content.

Between 4:14 and 4:15 that backfire sounds almost exactly like a bowling ball hitting a super fast strike for whatever reason, and I love it.
I think thats the system that burns extra fuel to keep the turbo spooled up while he is off the throttle, i forget what its called. The Audi Quattro S1 in group b had a really gnarly sounding one

Idk why, but your channel keeps inspiring me to work a bit on my own games... that fiesta, holyyyy... pure acceleration. i guess 1,5 sec from 0-100? sbr chrono transmission whine sounds like a dying cat and i love it the 993 looks REALLY scary to drive... mg metro is imo still one of the best sounding rally cars ever. lancia delta being a flamethrower, also nice flutter and the last evo is just pure overkill

Did u ever heard of racing? Moto gp 1l over 300hp , 2.8l v8 naturally aspirated f1 over 700 HP, a 4g63 can handle more than 1000hp and go over 120000 rpm with proper tune

2:16 after seeing the 850hp lancer, i remember the quote from jeremy clarkson, around an old american car and saying how they managed to get SO LITTLE POWER from such a big engine
Answer to jeremy; oil crisis and chasing the maximum mileage by trying to achieve higher dynamic compression ratio, and aiming the power on low rpm's, just to get better mileage. Yankees had road racing engines at 800hp ballpark naturally aspirated in the late sixties. Always such a good joke to compare an oilcrisis chevy van engine to a nineteens turbocharged racing engine. I think the 66' 426 hemi based desing holds up the record for engine power still today. Proline racing corvette had 5200hp to the rear hubs without nitromethane, when put under decent boost like this lancer
