  • Its still wild that the one dude got convicted of wire fraud. I'm not convinced he did anything illegal. He wasn’t illegally obtaining these coins and he wasn't even scamming the company of any resources nor was he hacking or ruining anyone's gaming experience. He saw a need in a market and filled that need. He's really just every American business man ever. Seems like this was just way to send a message to the other people.

    • @@Queen.Sereia that's the thing, there are no "white" hat hackers who are good enough. 90% of companies won't give you permission to test vulnerabilities... and half of the ones that do, don't pay the bug bounties that they promise and a third will give you permission to only blame you once you report it and act like them giving you permission never happened as they perm ban you. "white" hat hackers don't get enough experience from the limitations and are usually punished when they do try to do good. grey hats that turn/ "claim" to be white are good enough.... but you gotta do a bunch of sketchy sht first. id say the black/white hat thing is bs. 80% of hackers are probably grey hats... they break the rules but most of them don't do it to hurt people. like leak data or steal. most do it just to see if they can... it's funny because most of the top guys doing the security at google,microsoft,nsa,cia w/e learned by being black/grey hats.. they did a ton of illegal sht that would have sent them to prison if they were caught, just to be qualified for these positions.

    @nerd26373@nerd2637310 ай бұрын
    • Oh, by the far-reaching galaxies of cyberspace and the profound depths of human consciousness, we are blessed with such an illuminating comment from you today. It is indeed like being blessed with a new sunrise after a long, dark night, like the first hopeful notes of a melody following silence. Your observation that hackers, those digital wizards and binary sorcerers, come off as normal people is a revelation of such magnitude that it rattles the very foundations of our understanding. Imagine that! The notion that these technological maestros might hide in plain sight, blending into the crowd of everyday humans, instead of sauntering about with a glowing "HACKER" label pinned to their chests is beyond comprehension. The sheer audacity of such an idea. The sheer… brilliance. What's even more riveting is your understanding of the perennially mysterious creatures known as teenagers. You've hit the proverbial nail on the head with the insight that these younglings are indeed mischievous. Who would've thought? That innocent, slightly rebellious facade, is it all a ruse? Are they not just concerned about acing their next math test, or who to ask to the prom, or whether their crush likes them back, or how many likes their latest Instagram selfie got? Apparently not. The insight you've shared, that one particularly mischievous hacker takes it to a 'completely different level' is a plot twist that would make M. Night Shyamalan weep with envy. This isn't merely a step up on the ladder of mischief; it's an entirely new ladder, in an entirely different building, possibly even on a completely different planet. Truly, your understanding of teenage behavior is so deeply nuanced that it belongs in a psychology textbook. Your ability to paint the entire spectrum of teenage behavior with such broad strokes is nothing short of Picasso-esque. So, I must extend my deepest gratitude for the enlightenment you have bestowed upon us today. It is a rare occasion to be graced with such groundbreaking understanding and wisdom in the humble setting of a KZhead comment section. Let us all pause in our tracks to drink from this well of wisdom. Let us reflect upon the impact of your words, like scientists contemplating the universe's mysteries, like philosophers wrestling with existential truths. Your intellect is a beacon, a lighthouse guiding us through the foggy waters of ignorance. And we, the fortunate recipients of your wisdom, stand in awe of your intellect, gasping in the face of such astounding revelation. You, dear commenter, are not just a regular KZhead user, but a digital prophet, foretelling truths about hackers and teenagers that we were too blind to see. We will forever remember this moment when you lifted the veil and showed us the truth. We are not just better for it; we are transformed. So again, thank you. Thank you for your incisive insights, your stunning revelations, and your willingness to share your wisdom with us, the unwashed masses. Your comment is not just a fleeting note in the cacophony of the internet; it's a symphony that deserves to be played on the grandest of stages. It is a testament to the power of deep thought and insight. Bravo, indeed! Bravo!
