    • Octane Gel's comeback is remarkable. I remember a time when it was really scratchy to write and the ink flow was very inconsistent. But now, i think Cello's gels are bad. Like really. It bleeds like crazy, ink flow is disrupted and overall has a bad experience. Has tested out Pointec Gel refills and its been unpleasant.

  • Reynolds was renamed as Rorito bro. But now Reynolds is also available. So I think Rorito didn't gained that much of popularity so they also kept Reynolds running.

    • Reynolds was not renamed as rorito bro in the past gm pens international sold the license of making Reynolds pens in india to flair pens because of some issues and gm pens made their own copy of reynolds and named it rorito and thats why we can see in new reynolds pens a seal and there is written reynolds original since 1945

    • Me too but I reduced the use of ball pen because some of my notes are destroyed because of oil. I don't use gel pens, they're not as smooth as roller ball pens. I am personally a fan of fountain pen but good fountain pens are expensive. I just use roller balls right now. Water and oil proof.

  • I only subscribed because of one absolute thing you said "add gel is a legend" Lmaooo truueeee bro. I've sooooo many memories related with that pen. Good was that it was the first pen I ever used in my life. Second was sachin Tendulkars pen, then it was jiffy and then hydra and then and then linc oceanic It was of montex I don't remember the model but it was frigging crazy but it was like use and throw. But the ink colour was damn awesome it attracted me. I used that for almost 2 years the same and lost count since then because the vendor stopped bringing that Edit: it was montex hi-speed

  • i am fond of writing, being very selective in using pens, this channel is unique in whole planet, comparing pens, found very research ful and informative. Please include Hauser Sonic Gel Pen @ Rs10/- ( German technology with Japanese Stainless Steel Tip), which i feel is best Gel pen with Grip, Smoothness, Speed writing, Weight, Ink Color (attractive to reader). Montex Winner Gel pen is another choice, which is also good for Fast writing.

  • Thanks for the detailed comparison. Have you ever tested Hauser gel pens, specifically the Sonic gel? I am currently using Hauser StyGel but they are not smooth writing, rather scratchy. But I bought them as they have waterproof ink. Will the Reynolds Racer gel or Hauser Sonic gel be better in terms of smoothness while retaining the waterproofing? Also, are their any ball pens which have waterproof ink?

  • My experience with Reynolds racer gel has always been worst I'll pick octane, secondly I'll choose flair hydra gel the other one feels scratchy sometimes. Perfect review about graphics plus very accurate about how I feel about that pen. Pentonic should have been a bit cheaper 100% agree on that. I am using winner thinking of switching. What do you think which would be great for taking notes. I know ball pen are best for taking notes and writing more stuff without harming to pocket but i don't like them except for Parker ball pens their ink is on next level and also the pricing 😅

    • If you try Reynolds Racer gel pen, then You say do not use three pens. The razor pen is good for writing when using other pens. UNOMAX geltron gel pen good. But when writing, the fingers hurt a little and are overweight. Lack of grip makes writing difficult

  • You missed uni ball click gel pen its also as good as octane. 1. Octane/uni ball click gel pen 2. Flair carbonix 3. Flair concorde (its not in 10rs category) but its amazing one Flair being an indian brand must be supported. In terms of grip octane isnt that good as u see in first sight the rubber grip just puts lot of pressure in ur finger skin i faced that and got swellings at times 😂 so i would recommend flair carbonix for body and grip and ink for octane 1 tip:- just add the ink of actane to the carbonix gel body i do this often and enjoy my writing process
