Another magical trip with friends at Baldface Lodge. If you've never experienced a trip like this, pull the trigger. You won't regret it. Mikkel Bang ended up riding this board all week! Craig no doubt is honored to have him on it!

Every couple of months I watch this video to remind myself that heaven does exist.
I know this probably will be a strange observation, seeing this young guy riding Craigs board brings strong feelings of melancholy and sadness for me, when Craig died we lost a snowboarding legend and a decent human being. On the flip side seeing this kid ride Craigs board fills me with happiness because I see Craigs spirit in his board and living on in this next generation of riders who never got the chance to see him ride or meet him. Enjoy the ride - don't worry about what happens tomorrow live in the moment. We Miss You Brother
It’s funny how riding with friends for years or seeing people on the mtn riding for years, you begin to notice them on their style alone. Riding Baker in the early years we definitely had a good turn out of pro’s show up every weekend, pro’s such as Ranquet, Lynn, Cummings brothers, Farmer and yes Kelly. The last time we ran into Kelly at Baker (season before his passing) was another midweek deep day, we just started getting ready to load chair 6 then I just happened to look over to the right and noticed someone ripping up some chop and that’s when I noticed his style, it was Craig and he was also heading up chair 6. I said hello to him and then introduced him to my buddy that had only heard stories of Craig through me and to see him star struck was pretty rad. The last image we have of Craig is heading up chair 6, somehow I think he’d want it that way.
I also own a former Craig Kelly snowboard a pro model circa 1995. I purchased it from Carter Turk after Craig won the Mt Baker Banked slalom. It ended up being his last race before he retired. Several years later he was looking to buy it back but we never reconnected due to his passing, I still regret not getting his board back to him
Do you still have the borad ?
Love how he seemed to instantly adapt a similar carving style to Craig's the second he strapped in, frig I kinda want to try his stance now.. 🖤🖤
Daaamn, definitly found a new bucket list item right here!
love the riding, love the music, love the POW!
Fabulous follow cam stuff. Love Baldface. Had 3 or 4 trips there. Fond memories of Cheeky Monkey...

this should be what forth phase should be like 90% snowboarding then like 10% sailing or w/e
damn i'd kill to ride on one of Craig's boards
Which gopro is this ?
I have a board that Tom Burt made for Craig before he died his names on the board so cool ide like to know his stance
So much pow pow
Travis Rice Great video, is that actually Craig’s personal board that Mikkel rode...?? I did a trade with Craig once for a Sims Kidwell he had, and I rode with him a few times on a Burton Team camp in Stubia Austria. I would be very grateful if you could give me Craig’s angles and width for his stance. He was very close to his riding style.
Try messaging or commenting on bald faces/Travis/mikel Instagram accounts. None of them would be posting this video or looking at comments. Especially since this was years old when you commented. I bet you if you call Burton rider service in Vermont, and ask if they could possibly go into the room with all the trophies in Craig’s prototype facility and ask if they could tell you the angle of his stance. They have several of his boards in there. I took the tour a few months ago
@@morgone8675 Thanks for your response bro, I think I have the angles and I wanted just to confirm it, and I called Burton with in the last 2 years as I just got back into it after my last trip to Saas Fee in 1996 at the British Championships. I think his stance was 29o Front & 9o back never new width in inch’s he was just a little taller than me, I’m 5’8 feet he’d probably be 22 or less back then. I’d just come back from a week in Val Gardena Italy, and I’ve just totally klick back to how I used to ride, I just need to get my wings sorted for air time.
@@morgone8675 Thanks for your positive feedback I hope all is well with you.
