Dimash is to voice what Michelangelo is to art. The world does not have a recorded artist that has ever been as capable in all forms of vocal interpretation. As a Doctor of musical arts and science, it is my humble opinion that Dimash is a gift long-awaited and in need by the world. Aware or not, Dimash is far more than an entertainer, he is a healer for those in desperate need of reconnection. Perfect resonance, perfect balance in an unbalanced world.

Wow. Just...WOW. I literally got chicken-skin during that, and had to pause that video to go look this "kid" (yes, I said kid, because I'm old enough to be his father, lol) up, because I'd never heard of him and had to wonder, "HOW?" He is what we would call a musical prodigy, without a doubt. Apparently, his vocal range is unrivaled today...1000 year singer? Probably. Who was the last one like him? Well, that would have been in the 9th Century, just as we were coming out of the "Dark Ages", so whoever it was likely wasn't written down in the historical record. Buy a ticket for one of Dimash's concerts TODAY, get a hotel and flights booked. Never in your life will you regret this decision. I saw Dimash live on stage just once, last April in Germany. This was a life changing experience. You are blown away watching his performance in a video? You don't know how the song FEELS like, I mean live on stage. Words fail to describe. But let me have a very poor attempt. I didn't only hear this unbelievable voice with my ears, I didn't only feel it piercing my skin, my heart, my very soul, my mind was lifted up into stratosphere, my body felt like being somewhere up there, too. Zero gravity. My brain failed to process what my senses experienced. I felt this song with every fiber of my body and every emotion I was able to feel ever - and even new ones. I cried with joy. I am addicted. I look at my ticket for the concert in Antalya, Turkey and wish it was May already. I just can't wait. I need my dope. I need the only drug that is good for my health as well. I badly need to experience Dimash live again.

The Creator gifted Dimash with a Stradivarius, and Dimash has spent 23 years and thousands of hours learning to play it. Vocally there is no one who can compare with Dimash. I was born in the 60s and I've grown up with some of the greats but I've never heard a voice like this before. He has worked so hard and had many knockbacks too, his unusual range was not initially welcomed in his own country and you would think he has earned the right to be arrogant but instead he's the most humble, gentle and loving human being I've ever seen. There are actually over 600 versions of an Ave Maria written throughout history, basically it's just a title just like you will find many songs with the same title in pop music. Dimash specifically asked for a new Ave Maria to be written for him. There is a clip of him singing the Ave Maria you are thinking of backstage in Las Vegas and also in Mumbai I believe when he went for meetings with the main producers in the Bollywood industry.

Hi there, that voice has been honed and is continued to be honed to perfection. Dimash started his music education when he was 5 years old. He's turning 29 in May. Can your imagine the work, sacrifice, perseverance he has been doing for more than 20 years to his craft? He still trains/practices at least 3 hours/day.

This is the only Ave Maria he sings, although there's a bit of Ave Maria in the song Love is Like a Dream. The piano man who played with him here is named Igor Krutoy and he wrote this Ave Maria for Dimash. Igor is a Russian/Ukrainian Jewish composer and when Dimash asks you to write an Ave Maria that he can sing (Dimash is a very spiritual Muslim) you get the vocalize version of Ave Maria. FYI, Igor is one of the Founders of the New Wave Competition Show for Young Performers. Dimash is usually a guest performer and sometimes judge. Lol. If Floor and Dimash sang together, I would die of a heart attack. I want Dimash to sing metal too, he does distortion so well.
The first time I heard this I was disappointed because I thought it was the Ave Maria I grew up with and kept waiting for it but after I realized it wasn't the same song, then I heard the genius. Because Dimash started vocal lessons at 5 years old, he trained through puberty and was able to keep his high range. That and 25+ years of training results in amazing Dimash.
