The first time I beat Alma it took me 7 hour... You beat it in 20 seconds haha. Awesome run, wanted to know how other people played my most favourite game ever.

Brings me back to the perfection of the game. You move so fast the camera can't keep up, rolling, jumping, running on water. This game can let you be as sharp as a dragon sword.

What's that little trick you do where you keep jumping without rolling and how do you do it? 19:33 is a very good example of what i'm talking about. Is it faster than rolling an jumping?

+Mouser Yes its a little bit faster but not much... just time forward and jump and you´ll get it!

+Mouser No not mash! Its all timing! Press the direction you want to jump and the jump button at the same time.. exactly when you land you repeat the same thing... Try it and you will figure it out! Works on every NG game..

Wonderful run. Nice use of shortcuts. Great fighting skills. But i got to ask: Why waste precious seconds getting the golden scarabs ??

+NCLDragon76 Well I wanted to unlock the Dabilahro and the armlet of Celerity for the last chapters and Marbus ...but failed to level it anyways coz i needed more essence so i lost alot of time doing those things in this run... I think its 20 and 25 scarabs u need to collect to get those things.. Mabye ill skip it next time and use the DS instead..

I just think they exaggerated how this game was so hard. On master ninja hell yes but normal or hard it was just about picking and chosing when to fight or run.

The game is pretty hard on the high difficulties. Normal is nothing special really I find it crazy that some people think it is harder than ds3. What really made this game special was how fluid the combat and movement felt.

I didnt even upgrade the dabilahro fully in chapter 14 cos i missed som essenceI I havnt tried a Normal Speedrun since i uploaded this one.. but im thinkin about trying to beat it again soon and focus to beat JTB`s ingame time.

I wonder if that Alma technique you used in the first battle with her would work in the PS3 version? Might have to test this out, would save me a lot of trouble/frustration trying to kill that bitch on Master Ninja Mode lmfao

PS2 had Onimusha XBOX had Ninja Gaiden The game engine looks so similar.... There is a strong absence of Asian mythology game's nowadays.

It's hilarious how I notice the minor goofs. That shows how impressive this speed run is. Jesus or Chuck Noris might be able to do it faster, but I doubt many others can. :P

@xBIGALSKIx I know! He´s time is insane. It´s really a mental challenge to speedrun this game if u want a really good time.. havnt tried it on normal since i got this time about 1 year ago. Did a speedrun that ended up at 1.53.17 one day before i got this time.. but the stream broke down uf.. Did some attempts to do a single segment no death/save on Hard but i always fukked it upp in the end chapters in some ways so I didnt finnish... Mabye I can beat his time, but I really have to bring my best game to it lol.. and if I do, JTB will probably do 1 try and beat mine lol.. He´s a beast! Now im preparing to do a speedrun on sigma, but after that i´ll give it a try! Really like your NG videos as well man!

@ Kris - Thanks on the vids. Hard to believe it's been so long ago. His control of Ryu is so good which saves quite a bit of time compared to some other speed runs I've seen. We've met and played some NGB together and it's so fun to watch him kick ass. @xid - Thanks. We had a lot of fun making them. I've tried getting him to upload it on Speedrun but they wanted the vids a certain way and JTB said he couldn't be bothered with doing them that way. I'm still trying to convince him as he thinks he can beat his time by a few minutes.
