This is the ULTIMATE Experience for fans of Attack On Titan! The event called 'Shingeki no Hita' or 'Attack on Hita' started recently to celebrate the super popular series Attack on Titan (進撃の巨人) and the town of the manga's author Hajime Isayama (諫山創).
A new Shingeki no Kyojin Museum has opened up, displaying never-before-seen drafts and sketches from Isayama-sensei himself and is a must-see for super fans. Fan-favorite characters; Eren, Armin Mikasa & Captain Levi have also been immortalized as bronze statues which make for unmissable photo spots! Using the dedicated 'Attack on HIta' app, you can also participate in a whole host of interactive AR games that bring scenes from the manga into the real world.
To help you join in the experience for yourselves, JapanPro spent two days traveling around Japan's southern island of Kyushu to check out all these different locations and bring you Attack on Titan in Real Life!

  • Very cool. The AR stuff looked awesome. And a nice excuse to see a random backwoods area of Japan. One of my first memories of Japan was being woken up early in the morning by marching band practice at the high school across the road from my apartment in Osaka - they were playing the Attack on Titan theme music from season 1. I’m currently watching the final season on Crunchyroll and am SO confused by it, even though I’ve watched from the very beginning! 😆

    • Thanks a lot for your comment! Exactly, it was very nice for us to travel there in the backwoods of Oita (it was my first time visiting the prefecture too.) And what an experience, being woke up by the AoT theme song played by a high school band 😂 I’m looking forward to reading/seeing the very last episode of the series soon - Yasu

  • I wish a can go there! Also I hope Isayama doesn't change the ending on Attack on Titan. For me it was perfect and the one he probably wanted but because some people didn't like and understood his message is going to change. I hope not. I respect the first one and what he was trying to tell us.

    • @@ariesyal Armin saying "were not titans anymore", the soldiers saying "understable, have a great day", is good? Mikasa being the key to Ymir stop this bullshit of building titans, cause she saw Mikasa cutting Eren's head and realise she has stocolm syndrome, after years in the paths, is good? Eren saying hes confused after all the horrible things he did and even said about his essence, is good? The worm, the literal power of titans vanishing to nothing, is good? The characters coming back to normal, because yes, is good? Paradis being able to talk to the 20% of humanity and living in peace after ALL the bullshit that happened, is good? We still dont know why the titans eat human yet, is it good?
