    • @@OhNoTheFace actually i think the animations (in the diplomacy screen) are fantastic. Sure, they are a little wonky at times, and sometimes the dialog doesnt fit perfectly, but as far as engagement with your toon and the others goes - i think they nailed it. i forced myself to watch some civ6 LP just to make sure i wasnt too biased. Note the 'too' - not really a fan of civ - each version is more crap than the previous. And civ1 was the first game i played that kept me up till the alarm went off.

  • I love that they screwed up the endgame. Polution kills you if you build the wrong buildings, but as far as I can see (maybe its hidden) i cannot demolish those buildings. planting 20 forest holds up one Airport for 2 turns, then the bonus disappears. Besides that its actually fun und less micromanage due to less cities.

  • One of my earlier plays of this game resulted in an impossible game lol I had wiped out everyone else except one. They were stuck on a small island, and never made it to be an actual civilization. So when I would send my Grenadiers down to kill them, they would die, then immediately respawn next turn. It was madness. I had been defeated in a battle of wills against a CPU who realized the only winning movd was not to play
