You do right at the end buddy.. keep your day job.
"Who needs screws?" *uses screws at the end*
Lmao
😂😂😂
i totally completely imagined this comment
I love European electrical, everything is so easy.
Also looks expensive...
Easy, expensive, and fails often.
Yet they need YEARS to learn. It’s effectively adult Lego. Except it sucks. And like everyone else said, fails CONSTANTLY.
Finally British realised after whole Europe using this method for years ….
Really how expensive are they
Everyone in the comment section clearly design and manufacture screw terminal sockets lol. They also write regs on screwing said sockets to back boxes
😹
Congratulations on reaching 100K subscribers. You've earned it. You're on your way to 1M now.
Thank you Brian - We could not do it without the support of our regular viewers 👍⚡️
WHO NEEDS SCREWS ? literally 5 secs later: uses a screw
Customer : how much are they nah I was looking for something more in the 50p range have you got any used sockets anywhere ? 🤣
that was my first thought 🤣
I can sell your some screws for 50p a piece.
The standard in Germany for sockets are push in clamps easier and faster
We never use a cordless screwdriver on socket faceplate screws. It’s nice to have a proper feel on how tight the screws should be or if it’s jamming .I give up counting the times we have been to jobs and the house basher has just rammed the screws in with a cordless screwdriver and stripped the thread due the the lug thread in the box being tight. Instead of re tapping the lug first. But then these days most people care more about time than doing a good job
These days? Nah there's always been people who value quantity over quality.
You just gotta fuckin send it bud.
Wow that’s new n so cool loved it. Never seen it before n that safety is correct
Need this now!!!
Bought a pack of 5 of these and the spring tensioning failed on all 5, dangerous as DIYers will use them and not check the cables are properly secured. Looks like you'll need those AFDD's after all. lol
Really - did you send them back to MK?
@@efixx Back to screw fix. Replaced with the standard screw terminals model, no problems.
Even if they work now in a few years down the line I can see those spring tensioners giving up
@@andysims4906 I can tell you from experience: They won't. I can tell you rather the contacts to the plug will rather fail before these contacts will fail. On light switches the internal contacts of the switch itself will fail before the wire terminations will fail.
Made in Malaysia. Funnily most Malaysian sockets still use the screw versions
I tried a few of those but the ones that I had the quality wasn't the greatest
Designed for DIYers hence the the brown blue and green/yellow conductors bad idea 👎 And three times more expensive than standard sockets . People keep harking on about loose connections absolutely tosh . You will only get loose connections when someone can’t be bothered to call in an electrician and decide replace a socket / light switch them self and don’t tighten the screws properly. Now we have these things to make it easier for them . Blows part P right out the window. Why the hell am I retraining to get my self up to date ? I I’m thinking I should become a Plummer a lot less BS Involved
I don't think it's a bad idea, after all Schneider have breakers with push connections. As for part p, that's the cause in the drop in standards in this country, plus you have building control and all the governing bodies that don't give a toss and both fail to prosecute crap electricians. As for training as a plumber, there is only one benefit to that, the ability to know how to charge proper prices 😂
@@acelectricalsecurity Not only Schneider, almost all manufacturers have that. Hager calls their line the "Quick Connect", MCBs, RCBOs and the neutral and earth bar in the consumer unit are push in up to 4mm², screws only for the larger sizes. Light switches are that way since the 1980s here in Germany, the sockets since the 1990s. No impact on DIYers, they still do it, but they also did that when we had screw terminals on light switches and sockets. As if tightening a screw is some kind of secret sorcery. Electricians don't get paid for tightening screws. They get paid to build, repair or maintain an electrical installation according to standards and regulations of the electrical industry. Get paid for the knowledge and experience. What can I do and what not? What is permitted? Is this safe to use? Does this comply with the regs that were in state when this was installed? Where are the limitations of some safety measures? And so on. What are the advantages and disadvantages of some safety measures? For example if you install an AFDD these don't have 30mA type A RCD protection inside. In the UK they have 30mA type AC protection in there. In Germany they have an A RCD inside, but with a tripping current of 300mA (!!) since AC type RCDs are banned here for new installation since 1984. So this is necessary knowledge for planning an electrical installation.
You don't have a lever to secure you device to the wall??? Then you need screws after all
The electric screw driver really necessary are they any good and do they chew the heads off the screws?
This is a Wiha speede 2 low torque settings so it doesn’t destroy screw heads.
Everyone is so lazy these days
Seems to me that last bit used a machine screw, eh? 🤔
German Standard since decades.😎🇩🇪
Some nice ASMR you have there
KZhead shorts and suddenly everyone is a creator
Ok, if you are replacing every socket in your house with these the price difference versus screw connectors will soon add up, but for a few sockets here and there or replacement over time they are definitely worth using.
who needs screws? This guy, this guy needs screws
What if we combine wago connectors with power socket?
What is the part number of this product
This reminds me of hooking up speakers in 1998
You, to hook it up to the wall lol
1 dessa aqui no Brasil ficava 1,000 $$ certeza 🤏🤣🤣🤣🤣
Is there a USA 120v version?
Bet they cost way more for a few mins less in connecting them. Seems like a deeper box is needed too?
Are they wagos or are they a clone, either is fine but i just wish this existed for iec plug connectors
Ooh! Nice and squeaky!
I wish these were standard in the US.
Why can’t they make a wire splicer using those flip switches to connect two wires together?
As long as it’s not American terminal sockets it’s fine, Those things are so shit they made half of the outlets in my room stop working because one charred itself stopping electricity from flowing through.
Wish I knew how to do that
Where can I buy this?

@@efixx OK I'll keep it to myself, I won't tell anyone. 👍👍
Shhh -it’s still sinking in with the team!
Wbere can i found your products in mauritius?
Apparently you need screws...
Like this hasnt been around for 20 years at least
Asmr low key
Now that looks like one hell of an expensive switch!
Socket
@@simonshotter8960 there are rocker switches on the outlet, therefore it is a switch to us here in North America. We do not have outlets with switches here, doesn't seem very effective. Why have a switch directly at the plug, makes no sense.
@@LogicalCanadian what happens if you have a device with no in built switch or a switch that isn't accessible? For example whenever I want to turn off my lamp that is on a shelf I use the plug switch as it has no other switch. It is also for safety and devices like phone chargers to stop them using power when not connected. I hope this helps
@@joel8340. Thanks for the info. I know of these switched plugs, but we do not use this technology as we do not use these the same as European countries. We have class V and higher chargers, meaning they have no draw when plugged in unless there is a draw at the output. These regulations are pretty tight here, and costs us a lot to implement. Have a good one!
superb, but too expensive yet
The future
Для Америки норм. У них 110вольт,у нас же расплавится к хренам собачьим)
Well you needed screws for the end but there now didn’t you?
This is old lol we use puch in conectors so you only puch the wire in and it locks in place. Peha and abb buchjeager have it as far as i know
I've known those push in connectors on wall sockets and lamp fittings for decades. Those have been proven to work well and are very safe. In contrast to shown in this video though, those bring one or two but never three connections per phase and work with solid wires only. Which is the standard anyway. And I have never met the need for three connectors per phase on a wall socket...
I hate those push connectors .
Right, who needs earthing? I like getting fried. Wth.
That socket...lol
Apparently the faceplate does
Very cool, simple, straight forward. One would have to be an morron to mess this up.
Or a yank
100k well done lads subscribers have exploded in the last couple of months
It has really surprised us. - Thank you for the support! 🙏
It a wrong color coding. Blue should be neutral and brown should be live.
I could always do with a screw
Still need a good a stripper 😄... some things are irreplaceable...
Who needs 50 bucks
You apparently....you need screws
Finally
✌️👍💪
Terrible sockets, way too bulky and if you’re doing downstairs sockets the cable routing is dreadful.
Al cabo q ni quería atornillar
Easy bro..
Not folding over the ends?
Wouldn’t work
13 Amps huh
What happens when these cheap plastic clips break....
How much was that outlet though? Convenience worth the money vs a regular outlet?
Brown to the N (neutral)??? Ane blue to L? Wtf
What are you on about?
💔
I use screws because plugs have fancy slotted holes in the back that you can do the same thing, just slide it in and done. But.... in a year or two they wear out, and lights flicker or plugs sometimes work.. I use screws so I don't screw the customer out of money or have to do a job twice.
Please I hear you breathing next video put a nice song track
Nope. I like my canadian style outlets.
Wont go in the USA
Hahaha
Ох бля сколько ж это стоит?...
These are crap I believe there are come backs already on theses sockets
Horrible connections
This would be so annoying to install. The plugs we use already stab in the back anyways. You only have to curl around the screw for 12 wire. Legrand is the brand of the switches and plugs we use.
