I just miss my late mom. She worked as a cleaner but she Will teach her children in the evening after she did the house work. Even my sister Lydia replace my mom's position when my mom lost her memories. But BOTH of them are my inspiration. They thought me, how important Education is in a persons life. I THANK MY HEAVENLY DADDY JESUS CHRIST FOR BEING WITH ME AND GAVE MOTIVATION. VERY TOUCHING AND A SACRIFICIAL STORY OF A MOTHER. I SALUTE THIS KIND OF MOTHER'S AND FATHERS.

- It is good to see a Christian appreciate a movie... Good messages can be rendered anywhere, good film teaches morals very easily to the public... But church goers considers watching tv, film, etc are sin... (so sad) I too was once a victim of a pentecostal group... Now saved by jesus..

emotionally it could be "Amma" but do you know how many fathers have/had worked similarly. Excellent movie - I love Amala Paul for this brilliant performance. So is that kutty girl. Revathy of course need not be specifically mentioned - less dialogue and super performance. As long as the message is clear, it does not matter, whether appa or amma - clean cinema can also be taken. Well marks to samuthirakani too. Brought some tears and nostalgic memories back

Daily I used to c this film n my leisure time.. Avlo fresh ah irukum.. Oru balumahendra, bala chandar sir padam paatha maadri.. Amala nailed it every frame. Just look at her lipsync.. Just perfect accent.. Keep go amala.. She s versatile actor.. But have to choose flexible role for her..

i loved this movie...first thing that impressed me is the story, Wonderful story! i loved it...this is one of the best films i have ever seen....amala paul has done a great job, ofcourse she is a brilliant actress...she is very realistic...all the characters in the film are very special the director has taken the scenes very beautifully so great job!...

Watched this beautiful movie on TV Channel.I can't understand Tamil, but I'm very fond of Tamil movie's/music as they are very realistic.All school/college going children/students must watch this movie to see how a dedicated Mother struggles for the bright career of her children. Outstanding performance by Amala Paul Mam & that school going Girl.Both of them deserves a National Award.Hats off to the whole team for making one of the Best Film of Indian (Tamil) Cinema.Love from Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Recently this movie remade in malayalam in the name of "udhaharanam sujatha". Awesome remake. Superb acting and BGM. superb climax. I suggest you guys to watch the malayalam remake movie once in your life. I'm sure you will love it.

- Sujatha was Better Manju Warrier and the Girls acting was better. Amala Paul is a little bit young for this role. Jyothika would have been a better option.
