Britannic, Titanic, Mauretania, SS United States, Queen Mary, & More! SINKING MODELS ON PARADE 2022
This is the 2022 edition of Sinking Models On Parade - a simple video of model ships sinking. This was made for all of the sinking model fans out there!!! This video is intended to be fictional and although some segments may "RESEMBLE" history, the video is not actually intended to be an accurate depiction or specific recreation of any actual events, so although Titanic may hit a replica iceberg, the actual sinking was a lot different. Long story short I did not try to replicate every detail, so if the list of the ship is wrong etc... please realize this video was random and not intended to be historical - it's just some toys in a pool. The video is really only about watching plastic models sink in different scenarios and conditions, it is intended only as entertainment for those that like model ships and always wondered what it would look like if they sank... Also please note that not all the ships in this video actually sank in real life or sank the way I depicted them sinking... again this is fictional.
Also please note that although I try to make the ship models appearance as accurate as possible, that my Britannic model is actually a Titanic model kit - painted only to RESEMBLE Britannic, and does have some extra 3d printed modifications added to help make the ship more accurate but it is not perfect! Furthermore, at the time of the making of this video in June of 2022, there were “0” “zero” actual Britannic plastic model kits available for purchase ANYWHERE - they to my knowledge do not even exist… yes you can purchase fully assembled 3 D printed models and Lego kits Etc, but that is not the medium I work with, so long story short - This is not the actual Britannic in every detail. So please use your imagination when viewing my resembled version…
Lastly,
Although we had some fun sinking model and toy ships... Actual sinking ships are no laughing matter. Real sinkings are not fun or romantic. People do loose their lives during these tragic events… Please keep that in mind… Especially when it comes to the Titanic… So I want you to understand that no dis-respect was intended to the Titanic's memory, her victims, their families, or the survivors, or any other ship involved, in any other tragedy at sea, both historical and at the present.
***CORRECTION - I made a mistake on the video the “Tirpitz” model is actually a model of the “Scharnhorst” it was a late night when I did the editing and graphics… thank you to those that pointed it out
Just a word on the Music - Prior year's 2020 and 2021 video, the music was so good, and fit so well, I just could not find anything to top it, so back by popular demand is the same soundtrack! Please see below...
Music:
"Waltz of the Flowers" by Tchaikovsky
"Blue Danube" by Straus
Thanks for watching!!! for more sinking model action click the links at the end of the video or check out the "Our Dog Zippy" channel for more!!!

VIDEO CORRECTION it has been brought to my attention by a few astute viewers that my “Tirpitz” model is actually the “Scharnhorst”. This is correct, I made a mistake, I did the editing late one night after a VERY LONG shift at work, (I am a KZheadr that has to keep his day job - yes lol) so I did goof this up - I can not pull the video to edit and keep the existing algorithm so it will have to stay “as is” - my apologies - my bad - It is a Scharnhorst model.

Where's these models I need it 😫
I agree
I want those models too but I WANT TO KNOW which store did they get the ship models from I want to know
How to get the toy
I love how the Titanic model one sunk exactly or almost exactly like the og one....the model is well made haha...
Yea rest in peace
Yeah rest in titanic
As a kid and even to this day, when I build a ship model I make it floatable. And usually I sink em at least once with very few exceptions. Although the pre ww2 destroyer 2 and a half foot long RC controlled, has too much wood in its make up and refuses to go completely under. im 57 now.
3:41 wow you recreated the Titanic in real life just a cool toy
It’s called the submersible titanic model it’s a realistic model that was made after titanic sunk. It sells for so much money on eBay but you can buy similar versions of it. People re-create the exact same version of it for less money so don’t buy the actual one from a long time ago by the re-created ones because those ones sell for cheaper and have the exact same gimmick it’s split in half
I love the random Zippy recording in the beginning lol
The dog is cute
Cool sinking 😎😎
i love the titanic model it sinks and splits its so realistic
My grandpa on the ship that sunk the Bismarck
I love these vids 😊
Really cool but the titanic split in wrong area it split just forward of the 3rd funnel
@christopherdo3601 thank you for the compliment - my model was designed to follow the 1997 movie not the current historical theory, that is why the split is in a different location
@@ourdogzippy ok btw where u get the model

Where did you get the SS Unite States model? SS United States is one of my favorite ships! Anyways, Great Video!!
Thank you - the model kit was purchased years ago, not sure what it costs these days or if they still have it but I got it from hobbylinc.com
@@ourdogzippy Your Welcome! - Thanks for the info I will try to look for it :)
Where did you get the detailed titanic model that sank? Also what brand is it? because i would love to buy it! Also I'm not talking about the submersible toy book version I'm talking about the other you showed
That is a plastic model kit made by Revell - it’s an old kit in 1/570 scale. I modified to float, split in half and sink. You could try a hobby shop or online try hobbylinc.com. The scale is old, newer models may be slightly smaller.
Did anyone else notice the ship just sink to the bottom at 0:40 on the left side?
your videos are great! I subscribed.
The wall FELL to a record low in July as a new
I would buy a britannic model along with a titanic model, but no one can make a realistic sinking like the real one, like the chimneys falling off, etc, and It feels expensive for not having those.
someone made
The chimney things are called SMOKESTACKS
I Love your videos!
Tip: try to use magnets in your ships to make your ships split at a extended time
agree!
Waaaauw, amazing video👍
I wanna know how to make ships sink like this, you did them well!
Thank you for the compliment!
Is the Britannic just a painted and customized mode of a regular titanic model?
In this video the Britannic is a Titanic model painted to look like Britannic, it also has 3D printed pieces unique to Britannic such as the Gantry Davits and Aft structures in some of my older videos it is a repaint only… the model evolved over time. It’s not perfect but I liked the results
Video is great
I have seen Ss United States in person tied up
Man this titanic sank nearly like the real one so titanic of 21st century
Good video
Dude you gotta make a step by step tutorial on how to build that not gonna lie
I dont think he made this I think he Just bought models and made a hole in them, but not in the Titanic bcz thats an submerseble model a rare one and i think the britannic IS the Titanic aswell but painted
I know but he bought the regular 1/570 scale and turned it to one
@@Mexican_Hero there are some videos
@@West_Coast_Gang please link some or tell me the names
Where did you get these ship models? I am interested in buying it.
I bought most of them from hobby shops, they are all custom modified plastic model kits that I built except for the vintage Titanic submersible model
@@ourdogzippy I knew I would get mad.
Did you pay a reticula ridiculous amount for the submersible titanic? My four year old wants one, but not for 6-900 bucks!
Nope…. I paid $12 for it…. Way back in 1999, long before youtube made it popular and eBay made it insanely expensive. I was lucky.
Awesome can’t wait!😜
What do you mean?
@@drewski5558he is probably buying it
Can’t wait for what?
I don’t rlly understand that
I like the RMS queen Mary because it sinks so slow
Oh no 0:46 titanic has sunken
Cool video man👍👍 It was Scharnhorst or Gneisenau not Tirpitz😉
Yes you are right I made a mistake on that one
@@ourdogzippy no worries everyone makes mistakes:)
Thank you man you earned a sub from me🤩👍👊
The best bit was the dog Also where do you get these?
Most of them are just plastic model kits that I modified, so I got them mostly from hobby shops all are around 1/570 to 1/600 scale
@@ourdogzippy how do you get them to sink?
Man, I wish I had that Titanic model
Me too! :(
Oh I love this
Rest in peace all ships
0:42 Can we just look at that ship that hit the floor there?
That was the Titanic submersible it sank off camera in one piece before I got the rest of the ships into the shot! :-)
I want it

Where did you get the queen elizabeth/Mary and Mauritania models? They look great!
Thanks! Mostly all my models come from hobby shops, but I got the Queen Mary kit dirt cheap on eBay during Covid lockdowns
@@ourdogzippy do you know the brand maker they’re from?
@@swiftengine The Queen Mary is a Revell kit; the Mauretania and Queen Elizabeth kits are from Airfix.
Queen Mary is made by Revell, Mauretania is made by Airfix - thanks :-)
where did you get the britannic model from?
It’s home made - made from a Titanic model
I wish I had the Titanic submersible model
Did you ever think to make the hulls water tight and add ballast?
Yes…. I have done that, but it seems people are more interested when they sink….🤔
@@ourdogzippy Have you heard of a device known as "a torpedo?"...start with modifying a CO2 cartridge (guidance fins, buoyancy -/+, piercing the seal/firing mechanism) then work up from there. There is another water hazard straight from the mad scientists working in the department of war...the Mine (not the "yours and mine" kind but the *KABOOM* kind). Sodium is cheap and explodes violently on contact with H2O (start with less than a tiny fraction of a teaspoon and go up from there but I wouldn't exceed a full teaspoon...unless you really don't like your fingers, eyes or hearing).
Interesting ideas, of course I could not reuse the model after that!
I live the brttanjc how did u get the gantrey davits tho lol??
I bought them online from a person that 3D prints them for model kits
@@ourdogzippy okay thank yky so much also cute dog! lol

Interesate este video woow me interesaria comseguir el Titanic, el Birtanic y el Olympic solo esos de hay me suscribo en tu canal brother saludos desde norte de Guayaquil 👋🏼🤓🚢👊🏼🌊
Just a small correction in your Video my friend, you put the RMS MAURETÂNIA sinking, in reality the Mauretania never sank, but his sister ship the LUSITANIA that was Torpedoed by the Submarine U-20 on May 07, 1915, in fact MAURETÂNIA survived until 1935 and was dismantled along with RMS OLYMPIC, another TITANIC Sister Ship.
You know your ships and are correct on all counts! I actually sink a few ships that did not sink historically, in the video, in this video I just sank the model regardless of the history, so in the case of the Mauretania, it was a Mauretania model, so I sank it as Mauretania without changing the name.
oh, now I understand I'm sorry😮 As we can see, the ships of that era were very similar, TITANIC, OLYMPIC AND BRITANNIC, are an example of from that, they were of the same class, as well as the MAURETÂNIA and the LUSITANIA, so many people confuse the ships and I thought you had them mixed up, but now I understand your intention ☺
Awesome !
Where to buy a titanic model
You can try www.hobbylinc.com
noice
Why do I remember watching this like 3 years ago if it was made 1 year ago
I have made many versions of this movie all different - one each year
Прикольно
А хто поставил мне лайк 🤫🤫
Where did you get the models
Usually I get them from hobby shops but I also have used hobbylinc.com
Where did I you get that Britannic model?
It’s actually just a basic Titanic model - but I did add 3D printed parts for the Davits (purchased online)
do you build them or buy them then build them or do you 3d print them or do you buy and already built
Other than the vintage Titanic toy, I built all of them out of plastic model kits and modified them to float upright and then sink
Where did you get them?
Most of the models came from hobby shops that vary plastic model kits
how did u get the other titanic that sank like the real one and looks like the real one pls i want to get it
One is the well known submersible model toy, I bought that in a store over 20 years ago… the other is just a Revell plastic model kit (1/570) that I cut in two pieces … the toy is hard to find now at a reasonable price and the model you can find in craft and hobby stores :-)
@@ourdogzippy oh ok thank for letting me know
Do you know we’re you got those models they are so cool and I want to save up for them
They mostly were purchased at hobby shops. You can also try hobbylinc.com
