Almost Answered" documents the unforgettable determination and drive of the 2001 Philadelphia 76ers. The 76ers eventually lost. Yet they remain beloved in a city that almost never loves losers. Led by the league's most controversial star -- NBA MVP Allen Iverson - and coached by the irascible Larry Brown, the 76ers cobbled together a journey basketball fans will never forget. "Almost Answered" features interviews, highlights and unbelievable archival footage shining a well-deserved spotlight on this memorable bunch. Narrated by local rock and roll star G Love, "Almost Answered" is a story that won't soon be forgotten.
Almost Answered is an hour long documentary about the 2000-2001 Eastern Conference Champion Sixers that’s worth watching if you like basketball and a must watch for any 76ers or Allen Iverson fan.
It features interview with Iverson, Larry Brown, Pat Croce, Mutombo and Aaron McKie with narration by native rock star G Love of the G Love and Special Sauce (who had a song in the 90s called ‘Basketball’ that ended up on a lot of hoop montages back then).

    • 1920s spurs had no one to stop Iverson and I thought mutumbo was the most over rated player maybe ever he was supposed to be one of not the best defensive center but look what shaq did to him in the finals but saying that mutumbo could have restrained the spurs bigs alot better than he did shaq and most of the 76ers Lakers games was very close no team beat the Lakers in the playoffs that year but the 76ers they would have dismantled any other team in the West The reason Iverson doesn't have a ring is 1 word Shaq that's it from 96-06 kobe couldn't carry Iversons gym bag there was no gaurd or no player like him

    • 1920s imagine if that man actually put in work every summer like LeBron like kobe like Jordan Iverson had more natural talent than any player to ever play and didn't even scratch his potential and he still was one of the best to do it if he worked hard in between or played in today's game where u can't put your finger on a player Iverson would be putting up 40+ a night easy the beasts in the paint back then and when fouls was alot more rare he still put up 30-35 a night and got to the line more than anyone what would he do against these non paint big men who shoots jumpers and stretches the floor today's game is built on 3 point shooting fast breaks speed and slashing which is every strength he had give respect where it's due

He was fending for himself when he was a little kid. Saying his mom never watched him play and that he would go get his friend at 7am and hit the courts. You should watch it again and ask yourself how different your upbringing was..

  • One of the illest / raw teams at that time. 2001 76ers. The most stunning thing about this is the fact they said if only Iverson continued to improve his game...what would have become of him? Possibly a championship? Both Kobe & Jordan as great as they were always worked on their game. After Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Lakers...it was clear that the 76ers was losing some gas knowing they ran through & fought 7 games against the Eastern teams. Like what Larry Brown said...if they were extremely healthy...it would've been a good match to see them fight game for game through that series. So it would've been something great to witness the following year have everyone healthy with Iverson improving his game & try to slay that all star Lakers.

Example both teams faced each other in the same 2nd round nd it also came down to 1 Final Shot but kawhi with raptors made it nd advanced into da ECF nd had to face A Similar Team The Bucks and the 76ers beat da bucks just like da raptors did. Nd finals both team 76ers n raptors had to play a Californian team. Toronto advanced nd they won the finals, but the 76ers lost the finals smh. If Vince Carter would have made that final shot then it would go down just like kawhis shot as the worst feeling for the 76ers
