The BBC Proms’ forthcoming season will see the event back as “we know and love” it after the music world went through a “bumpy time” after the pandemic, the director has said.
This year’s expansive 90-concert programme features debut performances from Florence Welch and Sam Smith, a disco night and a host of international orchestras including the Berlin Philharmonic and the West-Eastern Divan.
Following an extended period of uncertainty around their future, the BBC Singers will also celebrate their centenary year with seven performances within the 2024 run.

It is intetesting that no one has questioned JJ's rabid defense of a proven liar, ingrate and probable bully. Eould it be something to do with the fact that she is another person of colour and therefore has to be defended at any cost? Is JJ racist?

Well done Ian Collins for calling Sam Smith what he is, to call him they/them is just stupid.
If any individual or organisation has to say their not deliberately dumbing people down, you know the cat is well and truly out the bag, and they are getting desperate they have been exposed.
Almost can figure this out, but we US have never seen (in any media), Proms, Eurovision songfest. Nor the Queen's Christmas message (I really wanted to see those...)
Sam Smith lost his marbles from all the drugs, just like Demi Lovato. No one should be pandering to them.
Someone being accused of being a devil worshiper isn't going to mean anything to those of us who don't believe in devils and satans and ghosts and such like 🤷♂

I believe strongly in biology, a man is a man and a woman is a woman, but I just can't bring myself to say that Sam Smith is male. There's now way Sam Smith is female, so I think a fake stupid category of non-binary is probably the best description for something like that. I only used the word something because the word someone would be referring to a person,. The definition of a person is a male or female human, non-binary is not male female or even human. . So the reality is that Sam Smith doesn't consider himself to be human, so referring to Sam Smith as something is not insulting or offensive because Sam Smith is the one that chose to be put into such a category.
