Christ, They left them stranded. Not even I do that. and i'm the type of guy to take and replant crops. Crimes against villagers! SEND IN THE IRON GOLEMs. But for real nothing in those villages are as strong as the villagers themselves. Giving the capability of selling buying emeralds for cheap and selling them for high tier equipment such as diamond Gear & Tools to enchantment books like Mending, Protection IV, And Sharpness V. I hope in the future karma catches up to them.

I don't think I ever went to the extreme of dismantling the houses. I'd take the crops and chests, but I'd leave the rest alone. You never know if the villagers could have good trades or not, and I'd at least like to let them recover.

They should make an update where there’s types of villages. There's probably a mod similar to this but i’ma give my ideas anyway. A) basically the villages we have now where they don't care if you ‘borrow’ their stuff. B) A village with walls (maybe called a ‘town’) where you have to be more careful. Essentially, if they catch you stealing their stuff or causing collateral damage (maybe you can cause a ‘distraction’ when no-one’s looking like set fire to a house in the alleyway (which opens up the possibility of fire-people who put out fires and can do the same to your house) and do what you want when they’re not looking. This kind of village also has more guard mobs that work alongside golems. Essentially, they incapacitate you and teleport to the town jail, where a special chest holds all your stuff (even that which isn’t in your inventory) but you can only access what can pay the fine it takes to get out, or if you’re patient wait it out. You can escape, but then you have to get your stuff back later from the jail. Come to think of it, maybe a type of pillager can be added that mines under and through walls... and if you kill all the guards the alternative is an angry mob. C) The biggest kind. A castle. Essentially, you have to either bribe the guards to get in or have a seal from a Village or town mayor or the lord of another castle which you can either trade for or get from saving the village/town/castle from pillagers. You can trade with people here as well, but for really unique and/or good stuff. But if you get caught attacking someone, breaking something or stealing stuff, the guards will attack you and haul you before the castle Lord, and you get thrown in the dungeon, pay a heavy fine or do tasks to win your freedom/pardon where guards follow you around. Oh, and each type of villager living place has better stuff. Hope you like my ideas!

I think if she saw they were about to be slaughtered because of her and Steve's actions, she would be compelled to try and help. She seems like more of the Neutral Good type than steve who is more Chaotic Neutral.

I've recently done this thing where I always plant back crops I've taken and also leave something behind in the chests that I've taken as some sort of peace offering for what I've taken. Love your work with Steve and Alex, I want to adopt them as my kids.

I also leave beetroots on farms since I don't really need it but I also leave wheat seeds so that the villagers can plant it and multiply it. And I don't bother with the iron golem, I need the villagers safe for trading, but I do take the nice loot like food, armour, iron, ores, weapons, and obsidian. And leave the rest behind the chest. I would steal the bookshelves and bells, I also steal the bed if I really need it.

Would be really nice if villages could actually defend themselves and grow over time. Also have trained solders patrolling to help detour this sort of behavior. You know it would be real cool if the Villagers could get angry when they see you steal their stuff or murder their Golems, lowering your karma with consequences such as refusing to trade with you or spawning Golems to attack you. Don't know how Mojang is going to implement that though.

They do increase the price actually when you do some bad stuff, there is a weird invisible system (like a reputation bar) where the villager will keep tabs on your reputation. Examples like hurting villagers will increase your bad karma making them increase the price, killing an Iron Golem increases your bad karma exponentially increases your price even more. Good karma on the other hand work’s oppositely to bad karma, the only known way to get it is by curing them from being a zombie or saving a village from a raid. What it does is basically gives you a discount for anything they sell. A successful raid defends will give you a discount for a limited time while curing a villager will give you a discount forever

I love how they go from sneaking around committing petty theft, with Alex being incredibly nervous about the whole thing, to straight up raiding the village in the most unsubtle way possible and Alex enjoying every second of it. XD

damn this sparked a memory, I remember playing on a server with a friend, we found this beautiful village, while my friend was looting everything, I was just laying down a layer of tnt, once the owner of said village came back, a little pressure plate has turned his creation into a crater, oh how time has passed

alex and Steven always likes to do some good adventures but they always want something very good to take somebody's stuff and then they all took things from the villagers and so fast in a few seconds and I think they got really angry but then Steven and Alex left very quietly and he has the villagers' stuff and then zombies came to eat them and poor xd

They should make an update where there’s types of villages. There's probably a mod similar to this but i’ma give my ideas anyway. A) basically the villages we have now where they don't care if you ‘borrow’ their stuff. B) A village with walls (maybe called a ‘town’) where you have to be more careful. Essentially, if they catch you stealing their stuff or causing collateral damage (maybe you can cause a ‘distraction’ when no-one’s looking like set fire to a house in the alleyway (which opens up the possibility of fire-people who put out fires and can do the same to your house) and do what you want when they’re not looking. This kind of village also has more guard mobs that work alongside golems. Essentially, they incapacitate you and teleport to the town jail, where a special chest holds all your stuff (even that which isn’t in your inventory) but you can only access what can pay the fine it takes to get out, or if you’re patient wait it out. You can escape, but then you have to get your stuff back later from the jail. Come to think of it, maybe a type of pillager can be added that mines under and through walls... and if you kill all the guards the alternative is an angry mob. C) The biggest kind. A castle. Essentially, you have to either bribe the guards to get in or have a seal from a Village or town mayor or the lord of another castle which you can either trade for or get from saving the village/town/castle from pillagers. You can trade with people here as well, but for really unique and/or good stuff. But if you get caught attacking someone, breaking something or stealing stuff, the guards will attack you and haul you before the castle Lord, and you get thrown in the dungeon, pay a heavy fine or do tasks to win your freedom/pardon where guards follow you around. Oh, and each type of villager living place has better stuff. Hope you like my ideas!

Except why would Alex try to defend the villagers who were going to attack her and Steve? Granted, they shouldn't have been stealing from them in the first place but she got caught in the moment.
@@justinguyos5476 the closing shot of them getting surrounded by monsters could have been shown from the perspective of alex as she was on a hill or something nearby, perhaps a cave or something that her and Steve made to ride out the night. I think if she saw they were about to be slaughtered because of her and Steve's actions, she would be compelled to try and help. She seems like more of the Neutral Good type than steve who is more Chaotic Neutral.

Pfft, we've all done this at some point of our Minecraft life. I've recently done this thing where I always plant back crops I've taken and also leave something behind in the chests that I've taken as some sort of peace offering for what I've taken. Love your work with Steve and Alex, I want to adopt them as my kids.
I frequently replant crops, because if I ever come back, then there's a new harvest. As for chests.... I might dump my excess grass seed in there.
For chests I usually dump extra stacks of cobblestone, dirt, seeds, rotten flesh, spider eyes, sapplings, and poisonous potato
I also leave beetroots on farms since I don't really need it but I also leave wheat seeds so that the villagers can plant it and multiply it. And I don't bother with the iron golem, I need the villagers safe for trading, but I do take the nice loot like food, armour, iron, ores, weapons, and obsidian. And leave the rest behind the chest. I would steal the bookshelves and bells, I also steal the bed if I really need it.

Would be really nice if villages could actually defend themselves and grow over time. Also have trained solders patrolling to help detour this sort of behavior. Be funny if the soldiers killed the player then caused their spawn to be moved to the village jail that forces the player to gather resources for the village to pay back the harm they've done.

You know it would be real cool if the Villagers could get angry when they see you steal their stuff or murder their Golems, lowering your karma with consequences such as refusing to trade with you or spawning Golems to attack you. Don't know how Mojang is going to implement that though.
They do increase the price actually when you do some bad stuff, there is a weird invisible system (like a reputation bar) where the villager will keep tabs on your reputation. Examples like hurting villagers will increase your bad karma making them increase the price, killing an Iron Golem increases your bad karma exponentially increases your price even more. Good karma on the other hand work’s oppositely to bad karma, the only known way to get it is by curing them from being a zombie or saving a village from a raid. What it does is basically gives you a discount for anything they sell. A successful raid defends will give you a discount for a limited time while curing a villager will give you a discount forever
