When I saw the video title I thought 'but Brooklyn's alright isn't he?' but I found Stephen's commentary hilarious because Brooklyn does seem to lack any self awareness. That's all I ask as of nepobabies, just be aware of it and take the piss out of yourself a bit, no one choose the family they're born into but if Brooklyn had answered 'chef' to the guy asking about his car then made a joke about the car coming from his Dad's money then I'd have rated him a lot more.

Nepo babies aren't a big problem as long as they have the talent to back it up. Brooklyn....has none. And he seems absolutely clueless to it. The fact that he could say he's a "chef" with a straight face proves it. He never went to culinary school, never worked in a kitchen or even took an accredited class, but rather just woke up one day, thought to himself "cooking is kind of fun" and decided he was a chef.
Leave the poor guy alone. He chose the most harmless career to pursue and people are so nasty about it.

The weird thing is, to achieve what he did Becks really had to put in the yards on the pitch. Kept himself in great nick, covered mad ground and was known for being a hard worker. His discipline in getting his free kick technique down to a tee is legendary. How he passed none of that on is really sad. If his son wanted to be a chef, Becks should’ve instilled in him how hard he’d have to work - go to culinary school and dedicate his life to his craft. He could do that knowing he doesn’t have any financial worries. But oh well, I guess it’s easier not working 🤷🏾♂️

I often wonder what it's like to be a child of someone who is both incredibly rich and famous for mastering a craft. I imagine there's a thought that cross their mind that they will never surpass their parent(s) in money they earned by reaching the top of a profession because of their hardwork/talent. Then I realize they probably don't give AF and go back to living life like playing GTA with infinite cheat codes.
That's why Enrique Inglesias avoided his father's fame and worked hard to achieve his own success. People only knew he was Julio's son when he became known. Enrique has a hardworking mindset and he earned his success. Brooklyn, unfortunately, is lack of qualities to live up to his father.

I don’t think it’s fair to say he has no personality. He’s a young dude trying to find his place in the world. When you don’t have the requirement to earn a living it’s probably a bit paralyzing. Lots of rich kids become coke heads and kill people driving drunk, this guy is just trying different things. Seems like a nice down to earth guy.
Also probably doesn’t help having a million people sit behind keyboards telling you you’ve got no personality and no purpose when you’re barely an adult yet and didn’t chose the way you entered the world.

If he just kept his head down and paid his dues working his arse off in the kitchen of a good restaurant for several years to learn the trade properly he wouldn’t get any of this derision. I don’t think it’s rocket science. Just do your time, learn your craft and work hard. That’s how we earn the respect of our peers. Even if his dad helped him get a job at a really high profile restaurant somewhere it wouldn’t matter so much as long as he was serious about the work and started from the ground up. Instead he’s doing these bits for Vogue and tv without going through the process and he gets roasted for it.
His problem is, he's never been asked to cut his teeth on anything but his last name. . The guy could literally an entry level cook job for 7 months at one of the Top 3 New Orleans restaurants and learn more in a year than he'll learn anywhere.
i was on a 1st class flight years ago and 2 little boys were sat near me with there mum. the older one was called Brooklyn and the little one was called Romeo. The little one start crying and the older one put his arm around him and said "Dont worry Romeo, its alright, our dads David Beckham"
